In short

A pinnacle cycle is one of four long periods of life in Western-style numerology, each ruled by a number built from the birth date. This app adds month and day for the first, day and year for the second, the first two together for the third, and month and year for the fourth. The first ends at age 36 minus the Life Path digit; the next two last nine years each.

What the term means

Pinnacles are four long stretches of a life, each with a number from 1 to 9, or a master number, that colours it. They are read from the date of birth, and their age bands are keyed to the Life Path number. Where a Personal Year changes every year, a pinnacle lasts nine years or more.

Where the term comes from

The engine follows the AIFAS course notes, Life With Number Magick (p.101-107), which describe the pinnacles as "4 long term cycles on our life path". The notes say a person starts in one pinnacle and passes through three changes, and that a change falls in a 9 or a 1 Personal Year. Numerology Made Easy lists pinnacles among its chart headings beside the challenges. The pinnacle is not a Vedic term; the Vedic books in the corpus do not use it.

How this app computes it

  • First pinnacle: month + day. Second: day + year. Third: the first two added. Fourth: month + year. Each is reduced, and master numbers are kept.
  • For the age bands only, the Life Path is reduced to one digit even when it is a master number. The first pinnacle runs from birth to 36 minus that digit, the second and third last nine years each, and the fourth runs on from there.
  • Each number carries a short meaning from the course notes. A master pinnacle has no separate text in the book, and the app says so.

A small illustration

The book's own example, 28 August 1973, has a Life Path of 11 in this app, read as 2 for the bands. The engine gives pinnacles of 9 from birth to 34, 3 from 35 to 43, 3 from 44 to 52 and 1 from 53 on, matching the worked table in the notes.

What it needs

Name and birth date

That is more than this article asks for - it only ever takes a date, and sometimes a time, and never a name or a birth place. So this one runs on its own page, which asks for exactly what it needs and stores none of it.
