In short

A personal day is your personal month number plus the day of the month, reduced to a single digit from 1 to 9. This app reads the date on your own clock, India Standard Time when your zone is unknown, so the number changes at local midnight. The daily reading and the muhurat scorer both nudge their scores by it.

What the term means

A personal day is the smallest step of the numerology timing chain. The personal year gives the personal month, and the personal month plus today's date gives the personal day. Like the other two, it runs 1 to 9, and because it rests on your birth day and month, two people can have different personal days on the same date.

Where the term comes from

Metaphysical Secrets (Ch.8) adds the month and day of birth to the present year, month and day, lists eleven Personal Day numbers including 11 and 22, and says each day begins and ends at the hour you were born rather than at midnight. Motivational Numerology (Ch.8) builds it as the personal month plus the day of the month and works 5 + 8 = 13, then 4. Numerology Made Easy stops at the personal month and gives no personal day.

How this app computes it

  • Personal month + the day of the month, reduced to 1 to 9. Master numbers are not kept, so an 11 is shown as 2, where Metaphysical Secrets would keep it.
  • The date is the reader's own calendar date, and the day changes at local midnight, not at the hour of birth. When the time zone is unknown the engine uses India Standard Time.
  • The daily reading adds 1 to its score on personal days 1, 3, 5, 6, 8 and 9 and subtracts 0.6 on 2, 4 and 7. The muhurat scorer adds 5 or subtracts 4 on the same split. That split is the engine's rule.

A small illustration

The rules document's example is a birth on 19 July 1996, read at 20:30 UTC on 1 October 2026. In India it is already 02:00 on 2 October: personal month 1, plus 2, gives a personal day of 3. A reader in New York at the same instant is still on 1 October, and the engine gives 2. Same person, same moment, two calendars, two numbers.
