Questions about these dates

How are these vrat dates calculated?
Each date is computed by this site's engine for New Delhi: the tithi from the angle between the Moon and the Sun on the sidereal zodiac (Lahiri ayanamsa), and the day from that tithi at local sunrise - or, for Pradosh, in the twilight after sunset. Each year page states its rule, and marks the dates almanacs can list on a neighbouring day.
Why can a vrat date differ between two calendars?
A different city has a different sunrise; Smarta and Vaishnava calendars apply different rules to Ekadashi; and where a tithi changes within minutes of sunrise, two almanacs that compute a few minutes apart can name different days. The year pages say which dates are affected.
Is Sankashti Chaturthi on this list?
Not yet. Sankashti Chaturthi is kept on the day Krishna Chaturthi is current at moonrise, and this site's engine does not compute moonrise. It is left out rather than approximated.
