One feature, in detail

Your chart and your numbers read as one standing reading - up to twelve sections, each naming the placement and the number it was built from.

What it does

Life Blueprint reads one person through two systems at once. From your birth date, time and place it takes the chart - planetary placements, the Moon's nakshatra, dignity for the seven grahas that have a classical dignity table, and the houses when a birth time is on file - and from the same birth date it derives Mulank, Bhagyank and the Lo Shu grid. It joins them on a real link rather than printing them side by side: each of those two numbers has a ruling graha, and that graha has an actual sign and placement in your chart. Up to twelve sections come out of that join, and each point names the placements and numbers it was read from.

This is the standing view, not the daily one: what tends to repeat, where your advantage sits, and which chapter of the Vimshottari cycle is running now. Where a birth time is on file, the chart-strength number opens into the per-graha Shad Bala rows it was averaged from, and the doshas actually present are listed beside it rather than blended into it - the engine deliberately refuses to combine two different scales into a single score. From the top of the page there are two buttons: one to the dated timing view, one to the chat.

What it computes

  • Up to twelve readings, personality to wealth, each naming what it read from
  • Mulank and Bhagyank read through their ruling graha's real place in your chart
  • With a birth time: chart strength 0-100 from seven grahas' Shad Bala, plus doshas
  • Vimshottari Mahadasha, the running antardasha and your Personal Year together

What it needs

It needs your birth date, time and place; without a birth time there is no ascendant, so the houses, the Shad Bala strength index and the dosha reading are withheld rather than estimated, and the page shortens to what the Sun, Moon, nakshatra and numerology can still carry.

What it does not know

With no birth time on file the chart is computed at an assumed 12:00 noon - the page then recomputes your chart at both ends of that birth day, names only the readings that actually move between them, and withholds the strength index instead of guessing an ascendant.

In depth

The panels above say what Life Blueprint is and what it needs. This long read goes underneath them: which classical ideas each part rests on, exactly how the engine joins a birth chart to a set of birth-date numbers, how to read every kind of result the page can return, one chart worked through with real output, and what a missing birth time does to all of it. Where the engine is looser or narrower than the texts it draws on, this page says so.

Every figure below was produced by running the code that serves the page on the sample person used across this site's calculator pages - born 14 August 1994 at 06:42 IST in Ahmedabad - evaluated on 5 October 2026, with no name on file and nothing logged. It is not a real person. How the chart itself is cast is covered on the Kundali page; this one starts where that chart ends.

What the classical texts give a blueprint to work with

No classical text has a chapter called Life Blueprint. The reading is an assembly of parts the texts treat separately. Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra (BPHS) states the premise in Ch. 3 Sl. 4-6: the grahas move through 27 nakshatras and 12 rashis, the rashi rising in the east is the Lagna, and from the Lagna and the grahas 'joining and departing from each other' a person's good and bad effects are deduced. Sl. 12-13 then hands each graha a part of the person: the Sun is the soul, the Moon the mind, Mars one's strength, Mercury the giver of speech, Jupiter knowledge and happiness, Venus potency, and Saturn grief.

The Blueprint's sections are organised on that assignment: how you think is read from Mercury and the Moon, how you feel from the Moon and Venus, how you act from Mars and Saturn, how you see life from Jupiter and Saturn. Where a section goes further - Saturn as the graha of structure and sustained effort, Venus as how a person relates - the engine is using commonly held karaka assignments as working definitions, not quoting Parashara.

The house-based sections lean on BPHS Ch. 11: wealth, food and family for the 2nd (Sl. 3); wife, travel and trade for the 7th (Sl. 8); authority, profession, honour and father for the 10th (Sl. 11); income and prosperity for the 11th (Sl. 12). Life Direction reads the 10th house, Wealth Pattern the 2nd and the 11th, and Relationship Pattern the 7th. The same slokas also attach death to the 2nd and 7th and debts to the 10th; the engine's house summaries carry only the working meanings, such as 'money, family, voice' and 'income, aspirations, networks'.

The number side comes from a different shelf. Vedic Numerology Basic names three pillars: the Basic or psychic number from the day of birth, the Destiny number from every digit of the birth date, and the Name number. Advanced Vedic Numerology calls the first two Moolank and Bhagyank and puts the difference in one line: Moolank is our nature, Bhagyank is what is happening with us. The Lo Shu grid - a 3-by-3 square holding the digits of the birth date, zeros disregarded - is described in the course notes Life With Number Magick Part 2 as an old Chinese method in which every row, column and diagonal adds to 15. This app's rules for all three are in Mulank, Bhagyank and the Life Path number and the Lo Shu grid and its missing numbers.

The bridge: a number's ruling graha, read in your own chart

Most pages that mix astrology and numerology print one after the other. The Blueprint engine adds one rule of its own, stated at the top of its code: a section must connect at least two layers - a placement, a number, a dasha window - with a stated link. The link it uses is the ruling planet of a number. Vedic Numerology Basic gives the table under 'Planets and Numbers', and is explicit that in the Vedic scheme 4 belongs to Rahu and 7 to Ketu, where Western numerology uses Uranus and Neptune.

Rulers as listed in Vedic Numerology Basic; the names and one-line traits are from the engine's own table. A Bhagyank that stays a master number is read through the Moon (11), Rahu (22) or Jupiter (33).

Because that planet is also a body in your chart, the number stops being a free-floating label. Your Mulank's ruler has a sign, with a birth time a house, and for seven of the nine grahas a dignity. The engine reads the number through that placement in three tones. If the ruler is exalted, in moolatrikona, in its own sign or in a friendly sign, the Mulank's way of working is called backed by the chart. If it is debilitated or in an enemy sign, it is called tested - the part of you that needs structure around it, not more force. Anything else 'runs plain'. The Bhagyank gets the same treatment in Life Direction: backed by the chart, earned rather than given, or workable but not automatic.

Why Mulank 4 and 7 always read 'plain'

The engine grades the seven grahas from the Sun to Saturn and not Rahu or Ketu. BPHS does list dignities for the nodes in Ch. 47 Sl. 34-39 - exaltation in Taurus and Scorpio, moolatrikona in Gemini and Sagittarius, own signs Aquarius and Scorpio - and records in the same passage that some sages name Virgo and Pisces as the own signs instead. The engine adopts neither list. So a Mulank or Bhagyank of 4, 7 or 22 is always read in the plain tone, with the node's sign and house named. That is a gap in what is graded, not a finding about those numbers.

Two more joins run through the page. Each graha has a digit, so the engine counts how often that digit appears in your birth date and reports it beside the chart reading - Mars is 'loud in your numbers' if 9 appears twice or more - without folding the count into any score. And the timing line under each section sets the running Vimshottari period beside your Personal Year: the day and month of birth added to the current calendar year and reduced to one digit. The Blueprint prints the two clocks together and does not score whether they agree; that comparison belongs to the Convergence tool, explained in this article.

How the reading is built, step by step

Nothing on the page is stored prose. Each time it loads, the server recomputes the chart and the numbers from the saved birth record and runs these steps.

  1. The chart is cast exactly as on the Kundali page: sidereal positions under the Lahiri ayanamsa, whole-sign houses from the Ascendant, the Moon's nakshatra, and the Vimshottari timeline seeded from it. With no birth time it is computed for 12:00 noon and carries no Ascendant and no houses.
  2. The numerology profile is built from the calendar date of birth as typed, not the UTC instant, so a pre-dawn birth is not pushed to the previous day. Mulank is the day of the month reduced to one digit. Bhagyank is every digit of the date summed and reduced, keeping 11, 22 and 33. The Lo Shu grid counts each digit from 1 to 9; a plane - a row or column of the grid - is complete when all three cells are filled and absent when none is.
  3. The running Mahadasha and Antardasha are looked up for the moment of the request, and the Personal Year for the reader's calendar date.
  4. A shared context is computed once: the dignity of the seven graded grahas; Shad Bala with its strong, medium or weak band (birth time needed); every yoga and dosha found present; each house's lord and where it sits; one planet-in-house line per graha; the seven Jaimini Char Karakas; and the placements of the two number rulers.
  5. Twelve builders run in a fixed order - Personality, How you think, How you feel, How you act, Body and physical tendencies, Repeating Life Patterns, Strengths, Blind Spots, How you see life, Life Direction, Wealth Pattern, Relationship Pattern. Each returns one headline sentence, points that each name what they were read from, a timing line, one action, and a note saying what could not be computed.
  6. Separately, the server computes the chart-strength index, the dosha load, a short list of dated cycles, and three deeper modules: the full dasha timeline, a house-by-house reading and a planet-plus-number synthesis. Every account sees a real preview line for each module; the full content is returned on plans that include Blueprint modules - Premium and above in the plan table.

On screen each section is a folded card. Closed, it still shows the headline and the action; open, it adds the cited points with a 'Reads from' line under each, the timing line and the note. The Personality headline is lifted to the top of the page as its opening sentence.

Dignity: the scale most sentences rest on

BPHS Ch. 3 Sl. 49-50 gives each graha an exaltation sign and, opposite it, a debilitation sign. Sl. 51-54 mark out moolatrikona spans, Sl. 55-58 define natural, temporary and compound friendship, and Sl. 59-60 grade the result: full good effects in exaltation, a quarter less in moolatrikona, half in the graha's own sign, a quarter in a friend's, an eighth in a neutral sign, none in debilitation or an enemy's sign. The engine uses a ladder its code attributes to S. Kannan's Fundamentals of Hindu Astrology, in the same order: exalted and moolatrikona +2, own and friendly sign +1, neutral 0, enemy sign -1, debilitated -2.

Two details matter when you read a Blueprint. First, the friendly and enemy tiers are decided from your own chart, not from the natural relationship alone. The engine finds the lord of the sign a graha occupies and checks the temporary friendship of Sl. 56 - a graha in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th or 12th from another is its friend in that chart, any other placement its enemy - then combines it with the natural relationship as Sl. 57-58 do: friend on both counts is a great friend, friend on one and neutral on the other a friend, friend on one and enemy on the other neutral, enemy and neutral an enemy, enemy on both a great enemy. The two friend grades read 'friendly sign' and the two enemy grades 'enemy sign'. Second, 'best-dignified' and 'least-supported' are ranked on this sign ladder, not on Shad Bala. The engine reports both because they can disagree, and because the ladder survives a missing birth time while Shad Bala does not. Your own component scores are on the Shad Bala calculator.

One graha weighed against another

Four comparisons recur: Sun against Mercury (does the decision arrive before the reason), Mercury against the Moon (reasoning against feeling), Mars against Saturn (move first or check first) and Jupiter against Saturn (expansion against cost). Each puts the two grahas on one scale - Shad Bala out of 20 with a birth time, the ladder's position strength out of 10 without - and reads the gap as a share of that scale. A fifth of the scale or more is a decided difference, a tenth or more a lean, anything smaller level. Those cut points are the engine's own judgement, and its code says so. The 10-point scale has only a handful of values, so the page warns that 'level' there may mean the instrument could not separate the two.

Counted conditions on Mercury

Overthinking is not scored. The engine checks nine conditions on Mercury, each present or not: combust; retrograde; touched by Saturn, by Rahu or by Ketu; debilitated or in an enemy sign; sharing a sign with the Moon; sitting in the 8th or 12th house; aspected by Mars or the Sun. The last two need houses, so seven remain without a birth time. The result is printed with its denominator and named pronounced at half or more, present at a quarter or more, light below that and not indicated at none. Exaltation, own sign and a Jupiter contact are listed as dampeners, never as drivers, so the test can come back empty.

Two indices that show their parts

The mental clarity index is out of 100: Mercury's condition 35, the Moon's condition 35, the Moon's light 15, and freedom from the nodes 15 (7 if Rahu or Ketu shares a sign with the Moon or Mercury, 0 if both grahas are so joined). The Moon's light is the Sun-Moon angle on a straight-line scale - 0% at new Moon, 50% at either quarter, 100% at full. It is measured here because the app's simplified Shad Bala holds the fortnight component flat; the translator's note in BPHS Ch. 3 gives the classical basis, a waxing Moon counting as a benefic and a waning one as a malefic. Your own figure is on the Moon Phase and Tithi calculator.

The discipline index reads Saturn only: its Shad Bala scaled to 45 points; the type of house it occupies, up to 25 (an upachaya house - the 3rd, 6th, 10th or 11th of BPHS Ch. 7 Sl. 33-36 - earns 25, a kendra or trine 18, a dusthana 6, anything else 12); and its reach into the 10th and 6th houses, up to 30 (15 for occupying one, 9 for aspecting it). Both indices are banded in thirds - above 66 high, 34 to 66 moderate, below 34 low - and neither prints a band unless at least 50 of its 100 points could be measured. Without a birth time the discipline index can measure only 45, so it prints none and says why.

Moon, Venus and Mars in How you feel

The Moon and Venus are each placed in one of three states - supported, mixed or strained - by counting named facts: dignity, combustion, which malefics and benefics share the graha's sign or aspect its house, its Shad Bala band, and whether it sits in the 6th, 8th or 12th. The pair selects one of five plain labels: you settle in, you look for the signal, you open slowly, you keep a margin, or even-keeled. The engine avoids the clinical attachment categories and says in its output that this is a reading of two placements, not a psychological assessment. One caution: 'you open slowly' is chosen whenever Venus is strained and the Moon is not, so its sentence 'the Moon is in good condition' can stand in for a Moon that is only mixed.

Temper is treated as a place. The section lists up to four houses: the one Mars occupies, those it rules, and the 4th, 7th and 8th from itself, which are Mars's aspects in BPHS Ch. 26 Sl. 2-5. How the heat comes out is read from Mars's dignity in six styles - controlled when exalted, direct in moolatrikona or its own sign, workable in a friendly sign, situational when neutral, friction in an enemy sign, delayed when debilitated.

The Rahu-Ketu axis and the repeats you can date

Repeating Life Patterns starts from the one pair that is always exactly opposite: Rahu and Ketu. BPHS Ch. 34 Sl. 16 says the nodes give mainly the effects of the bhava lord they join or the bhava they occupy. The engine reads the house each node occupies and, as its own extension, the lord of the sign each node sits in - a graha that does have a dignity. It quotes a planet-in-house line for each node and then warns that, because the nodes are ungraded, that line can only ever be the testing wording.

The second source of repetition is arithmetic. Each lord runs one Mahadasha in 120 years, but all nine run an Antardasha inside every Mahadasha, so the lord of your current sub-period has held that slot before. The section prints those earlier dates, the earlier and shorter run of your current Mahadasha lord, and that lord's own sub-period inside its own period. Sub-periods of the first, partial Mahadasha are not used as 'you lived through this' evidence, because they are the full sequence compressed into what was left at birth. Antardasha and Pratyantar, explained has the mechanics. An emotional loop is printed only when the nodal axis and a second signal from a different system - a Moon or Venus contact, or a missing digit - point at the same behaviour.

Contradictions, everyday lines and the body section

Several sections end with a contradiction ('the pull both ways') and a few everyday illustrations. Neither comes from prose keyed by sign. A contradiction is emitted only when two computed signals actually oppose each other, and both are named in the sources line. An everyday line is attached to one named condition - a retrograde Saturn, an absent Emotional plane - and is omitted when the condition is absent. The page says they illustrate a placement; they are not observations of you.

BPHS Ch. 11 Sl. 2 gives the 1st house physique, vigour, weakness and innate nature, and that is the footing for the body section, which reads the Ascendant and its lord, Mars as ignition, Saturn as endurance, the 6th house and the spread of the nine grahas across fire, earth, air and water signs. It is written in terms of pace, load and output. It names no disease, gives no dietary or medical instruction, and carries the same line on every chart: a constitutional tendency, not a medical reading and not a substitute for a doctor. The numerology books' missing-number-to-body tables are deliberately not used here; they are kept apart on the Health Tendencies calculator.

Strengths, Blind Spots and where a yoga is filed

Strengths opens with the best-dignified graha and whether it also rules your Mulank or Bhagyank - 'the same signal arriving twice, from two systems that don't share a formula'. It then lists every complete Lo Shu plane, repeated digits, each yoga found, and each planet-in-house line whose graha is in a strong dignity and outside the 6th, 8th and 12th. Blind Spots mirrors it: the least-supported graha, every absent plane, the missing digits, each dosha present, and planet-in-house lines only where the graha is debilitated or in an enemy sign. What a yoga in your chart means covers the idea, and the Yogas calculator runs the same detector without an account.

Four yogas are filed under Blind Spots because the engine's own wording for them describes effort, not help: Kemadruma, Sarpa, Gola and Yuga. That is a routing choice, not a new judgement. Three of the detection rules are worth setting against the texts.

  • Sarpa Yoga. BPHS Ch. 35 Sl. 8 forms it when three kendras are occupied by malefics, and Saravali Ch. 21 Sl. 18 when malefics are in all the angles. The engine follows BPHS: malefics in at least three kendras and no benefic in any. One malefic alone in a kendra does not form it, so it is rare - 47 charts in 40,000.
  • Gaj Kesari Yoga. BPHS Ch. 36 Sl. 3-4 asks for Jupiter in a kendra from the Lagna or the Moon, joined or aspected by a benefic, and not debilitated, combust or in an enemy sign. The engine tests all of it, reading the benefics as Venus, Mercury and the Moon and the enemy sign from its own dignity table.
  • Vasi Yoga. BPHS Ch. 38 calls a graha in the 12th from the Sun Vosi and adds in Sl. 4 that malefics forming it give contrary effects. The engine lists it under Strengths with its favourable line whichever graha forms it.

The planet-in-house lines are paraphrased from Bhrigu Sutras, which usually gives both ends of a placement. For Venus in the 2nd the sutras promise wealth, family and good food, and add eye trouble if the 2nd lord is weak or in the 6th, 8th or 12th. The engine chooses its favourable or testing sentence on the graha's own dignity and house, not on that finer condition. The learn pages, from Saturn in the 7th house to Venus in the 2nd house, give each placement the room a one-line summary cannot.

Direction, money and partnership

Life Direction names the sign on the 10th house, its lord, the lord's dignity and house, and any grahas in the 10th. It adds the Atma Karaka, which BPHS Ch. 32 Sl. 3-8 defines as the graha that has travelled the most degrees in its sign and calls the most important karaka, 'just as the king is the most famous among the men of his country'. The chapter lists eight roles and notes that some treat two of them as one; the engine assigns seven, to the grahas from the Sun to Saturn, and has no separate spouse karaka. The Char Karakas calculator lists all seven.

Wealth Pattern separates what comes in (the 11th) from what is kept (the 2nd), and says so in one sentence when a single planet rules both, as Mercury does for a Leo Ascendant. It adds any Dhan Yoga and any of the three 2nd-house cautions from BPHS Ch. 42 that the detector found. Relationship Pattern sets the 7th house and its lord beside Venus, 'how you actually love', and the Moon, which the section calls the deciding vote on what feels safe.

Direction and Wealth check one timing tie: does the running Mahadasha lord rule or occupy the house in question? When it does, the section says the matter is 'on the clock' and dates the window. The idea that a house lord's period brings that house forward is from BPHS Ch. 48, but the verdicts are not. Sl. 2-8 promise recognition in the dasha of the 10th lord, read the 2nd and 7th lords' periods as distress, and the 11th lord's as obstacles to gains. The engine's tie is neutral about the house and does not test the lord's condition, so its action - 'treat the window as the earning phase' - should be read with the headline, where the lord's dignity is stated. Relationship Pattern instead reports whether you are inside the Mahadasha of Venus or of the 7th lord, or when the next one opens.

Mangal Dosha changes the action, not the tone

The detector marks Mangal Dosha when Mars is in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th from the Lagna - moderate in the 7th or 8th, mild otherwise. When present, Relationship Pattern's action becomes a request to have compatibility checked properly: in the engine's words, a reason to verify, not a reason to worry. See Mangal Dosha: what it is and is not and the Compatibility feature.

The two figures at the top: chart strength and dosha load

Chart strength is the plain average of the seven grahas' Shad Bala scores, each as a percentage of its 20-point maximum. It is banded Strong at 70 and above, Solid from 55, Mixed from 40 and 'Needs deliberate effort' below that, and it opens into the seven rows it was averaged from. BPHS Ch. 27 computes Shad Bala for the same seven and says the nodes are not considered. Beyond that the two part ways: Parashara measures in virupas and sets a different requirement for each graha (Sl. 32-33: 390 for the Sun, 360 for the Moon, 300 for Mars, 420 for Mercury, 390 for Jupiter, 330 for Venus, 300 for Saturn), while the engine uses a simplified 20-point version and one average. Treat the figure as a summary of this app's own scale.

Dosha load is a count. The detector looks for Kendradhipathya Dosha (Jupiter or Venus owning a kendra other than the 1st), Mangal Dosha, Kaal Sarp Dosha and the three 2nd-house cautions. Each one present adds 25, capped at 100: Low at 0, Moderate at 25, Elevated at 50, High from 75. The two figures are never blended; the code is explicit that they sit on different scales from different systems and that a single 'life score' would be an invented statistic. With no birth time both are withheld, and the page prints the reason instead of a zero.

To see what these scales produce in practice, the engine was run over 1,627 synthetic birth moments - every eleventh day from January 1960 to December 2008, rotating through five Indian cities and six times of day. These are test inputs, not users. The strength index ran from 19 to 66 with a median of 45: 70% of charts were Mixed, 23% Needs deliberate effort, 7% Solid, and none reached Strong. One dosha was the commonest result at 44%, then two at 36%, none at 15% and three or more at 4%. A reading of 45, Mixed and Moderate is the middle of what this instrument returns, not a poor result.

Engine output for 14 August 1994, 06:42 IST, Ahmedabad. Saturn's 17.63 is 10 for position, 3 for Jupiter's aspect, 0.125 natural strength, 4 for standing in its peak house and 0.5 for time of day.

The numbers come from the date alone. The day, 14, reduces to Mulank 5, ruled by Mercury. The digits 1, 4, 8, 1, 9, 9, 4 add to 36, which reduces to Bhagyank 9, ruled by Mars. The grid holds 1 twice, 4 twice, 8 once and 9 twice, so 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7 are missing, the Emotional plane (3-5-7) and the Action plane (2-7-6) are absent, and no plane is complete. The Personal Year for 2026 is 14 + 8 + 2026 = 2048, which reduces to 5.

The bridge then does its work. Mulank 5 runs on Mercury, and Mercury is neutral in Cancer in the 12th house, so the page's opening sentence says the Explorer's mode 'runs plain: it works when you use it deliberately, and drifts when you don't'. Bhagyank 9 runs on Mars, also neutral, so Life Direction calls the path 'workable but not automatic'. Both are temporary friendship at work. Mars is a natural enemy of Mercury, but Mercury, lord of Gemini, sits in the sign next to Mars, which BPHS Sl. 56 counts as temporary friendship, and Sl. 57-58 turn enmity on one count and friendship on the other into equality. Mercury in Cancer is lifted the same way by the Moon in the 4th from it, and Jupiter in Libra by Venus in the 12th from it. Graded on the natural relationship alone, all three would read 'enemy sign', and the two tones would be 'tested' and 'earned rather than given'.

Two of the nine Mercury conditions are present - combust and in the 12th house - which, at under a quarter, the engine names 'light'. The clarity index is 44, moderate: 10.9 from Mercury, 19 from the Moon, 7.3 from a Moon 87.4° from the Sun and 49% lit, and 7 because Rahu shares the Moon's sign. The discipline index is 58, moderate: 39.7 from Saturn's Shad Bala, 18 for a kendra, and nothing for reach, since Saturn in the 7th neither occupies nor aspects the 10th or 6th. A strong Saturn with a moderate index is the index doing its job: it measures where Saturn's structure lands, not just how much there is.

Strengths returns eleven points. Saturn leads as the best-dignified graha, followed by five yogas - Anapha (Venus in the 12th sign from the Moon), Vasi (Mars in the 12th from the Sun), Pasa (seven grahas in five signs), Sasa (Saturn in moolatrikona in a kendra, the Saturn yoga of BPHS Ch. 75) and Gaj Kesari (Jupiter and the Moon in one house) - and closes with two favourable planet-in-house lines, the Moon in the 3rd and Saturn in the 7th. Blind Spots returns six: Venus as the least-supported graha at 5.29, the two absent planes, the missing digits, a mild Kendradhipathya Dosha because Venus owns the 10th, and one testing planet-in-house line (Venus in the 2nd). Saturn is the only graha in a kendra, which by BPHS's rule leaves Sarpa Yoga two malefic kendras short, so it appears only as Sasa under Strengths. This Gaj Kesari meets every condition of Ch. 36: Jupiter grades neutral rather than enemy in Libra, is not combust, and is joined by the Moon.

For a Leo Ascendant Mercury rules both the 2nd and the 11th, so Wealth Pattern opens with the one-planet sentence - income and retention 'rise and fall together' - and, because the Mercury Mahadasha runs until 17 January 2041, adds that income is on the clock. Read with the headline, that is a long window governed by a combust lord in the 12th, not a promise. Repeating Life Patterns supplies dates that can be checked: the running Ketu Antardasha lasts from 16 June 2026 to 13 June 2027, and Ketu last held that slot from 1 October 2010 to 9 November 2011, inside the Saturn Mahadasha. Its action is to write down what actually happened in that earlier window. At the top of the page the strength index is 53, Mixed - the seven Shad Bala scores total 74.50 of 140 - and the dosha load is 25, Moderate.

Without a birth time: what survives and what moves

Run the same date with no time and the engine assumes noon. All twelve sections still come back, but with 67 points instead of 86: Strengths falls from eleven points to four, Blind Spots from six to four, and Wealth Pattern from five to one. The strength index and the dosha load are withheld. The four weighings fall back to the 10-point ladder, where Mars scores 5 and Saturn 10, and the Mercury count becomes 1 of 7. Every section carries a note naming what it could not compute. What a chart can say without a birth time covers the general case.

The dates move too. With 06:42 on file the Mercury Mahadasha ends on 17 January 2041 and the running sub-period is Ketu's. At an assumed noon it ends on 22 April 2037 and the sub-period is the Sun's. The page's precision note goes further by recomputing the chart at both ends of the birth day: a birth just after midnight puts the Moon in Libra and Vishakha with Saturn's Mahadasha running now, and a birth just before the next midnight puts it in Scorpio and Anuradha with Mercury's. For this date the Moon sign, the nakshatra and the current Mahadasha lord all depend on the hour.

That is common. Across the 1,627 test dates, the two ends of the day disagreed on the Moon's sign for 44%, on its nakshatra for 96% and on the running Mahadasha lord for 76%, and the dasha dates moved by six months or more for 95%. Those figures compare the start of the day with its end, the widest case; an assumed noon is at most half a day from the truth. The Ascendant is more sensitive still - the translator's note in BPHS Ch. 3 gives about two hours for a rashi to rise - which is why houses are withheld without a time. If you have even an approximate time, enter it; Moon sign and nakshatra explains why the Moon matters most.

Limits worth knowing before you read yours

  • Positions come from standard published formulas, not from Swiss Ephemeris; the methodology page gives the measured accuracy, about 0.1-0.3° for the Moon.
  • Shad Bala is this app's simplified 20-point version, not the full virupa computation of BPHS Ch. 27, and every weighing and index built on it inherits that.
  • Dignity combines the natural and temporary relationships, but the sign ladder has one friendly and one enemy step, so a great friend and a friend grade alike; the nodes are not graded at all.
  • Vasi is detected on a simpler rule than the text gives, and Gaj Kesari treats the Moon and Mercury as benefics without BPHS's waxing and unafflicted qualifiers.
  • The one-line temperaments for the Moon sign, Sun sign and birth nakshatra come from short tables the engine's notes describe as paraphrased and curated. Saravali's own entry for a Libra Moon (Ch. 23 Sl. 44) runs to physique, cattle, land and spouses; the engine keeps one clause of temperament.
  • This page does not read your logged events, so Repeating Life Patterns says outright that it is uncorroborated by your own history.
  • The actions are behavioural: write the decision down, give it a date, build a small system. The Blueprint prescribes no gemstone, mantra, ritual or donation, and its body section is not medical advice.
  • Nothing here forecasts an event. A dated window says which lord runs when; a tone says how that lord is placed. Neither is a guarantee.

Where the Blueprint connects to the rest of the app

The Blueprint is the standing view; other pages hold the detail it summarises. The chart and all three strength measures are on Kundali. The grid, the planes and a dozen more number systems are on Numerology. The dated phases behind every timing line are on Timing, and the 10th-house material is taken further in Career and Money. The top of the Blueprint links to the AI chat, which answers from the same saved chart. Whether any of it matched your life is the business of Accuracy.

Most of the inputs can be checked without an account: the birth chart, the numerology profile, the Lo Shu grid, the Vimshottari dasha, the Personal Year and the Mangal Dosha check. For the numbers the bridge is built on, start with number 5 or number 9 - or whichever your own Mulank and Bhagyank are - and for the books behind each engine, see sources.

Questions people ask about Life Blueprint

Is the Life Blueprint a prediction of my life?
No. It describes placements, numbers and the dated periods of the Vimshottari cycle, and says how each sentence was derived. A section's action is a suggestion about behaviour, and a window is a date range in which one lord runs. The engine attaches no probability to anything, because none can be derived from a chart.
My chart strength is in the 40s and says Mixed. Is that bad?
It is the middle of the scale as this engine produces it. Over 1,627 test charts the index ranged from 19 to 66 with a median of 45, most charts were Mixed, and none reached Strong. Open the 'Graha by graha' rows to see which planets pull the average up or down; that is more useful than the single figure.
Why does the same planet appear under both Strengths and Blind Spots?
Because the two lists are built from different tests. A graha can be strong by dignity and form a helpful yoga while its position also meets the engine's rule for a testing yoga, or while a house it rules reads as needing effort. In the sample, Venus is the least-supported graha under Blind Spots while also forming Anapha Yoga under Strengths. Read each line with its 'Reads from' sources.
My Mulank is 5, but the page says 5 is missing from my grid. Which is right?
Both. The Mulank is the day of the month reduced to one digit, so a birth on the 14th gives 5. The Lo Shu grid holds only the digits actually written in the date, and 14 contributes a 1 and a 4. This app's numerology rules note the case as correct. The Life Path calculator shows the working for your date.
Another app grades one of my planets differently. Why?
The usual reason is friendship. This page combines the natural relationship with the temporary relationship of BPHS Ch. 3 Sl. 56-58, which depends on where the two planets sit in your chart; a program that uses the natural relationship alone will often call the same planet 'enemy sign' where this page says neutral. Moolatrikona spans also differ between sources. The sign and degree should match; the label may not.
I do not know my birth time. Is the Blueprint still worth reading?
The number side is exact, and so are the signs and dignities of the slower planets. The Moon's sign and nakshatra and every dasha date rest on an assumed noon, and the page tells you, for your own date, which of those change across the day. Houses, Shad Bala, yogas, doshas and both top figures are withheld, not estimated.
Does the body section tell me anything about my health?
No. It describes rhythm - whether energy arrives in bursts or as a steady line, and where load tends to show first - from the Ascendant, Mars, Saturn and the element balance. It names no condition and repeats on every chart that it is not a medical reading. For a health concern, see a doctor.
Does my Blueprint change over time?
The placements, numbers, yogas and doshas are fixed at birth. What moves is the timing: the running Mahadasha and Antardasha, the Personal Year, the 'next chapter' line, and any sentence that depends on them, such as whether the current lord rules your 10th or 2nd house. The page is recomputed on every load, so those update on the day they change.
