Saturn and Jupiter change sign five times in 2027: Saturn crosses from Pisces into Aries and back, and Jupiter crosses three times. Rahu stays in Capricorn and Ketu, opposite it, in Cancer. Counted from a Libra Moon, Saturn's two signs are the 6th and 7th houses, Jupiter's are the 10th, 11th and 12th, Rahu's is the 4th and Ketu's the 10th.
This page reports positions and the engine's rules for them; it does not say what 2027 will bring to anyone with a Libra Moon. 2027 dates: every sign change and station
The first table lists the five ingresses and three stations of Saturn and Jupiter in 2027. A station is the day a graha turns retrograde or direct (see vakri). Rahu and Ketu change no sign in 2027. Jupiter turned retrograde on 13 December 2026, at 2.82 degrees of Leo, which is why it moves back into Cancer on 25 January.

Dates are this app's computation and may differ from other software by hours to a day or two near an ingress. In India (UTC+5:30) Saturn's station of 9 August (19:06 UTC) falls on 10 August at 00:36, and Jupiter's entry into Leo of 25 June (18:14 UTC) is within an hour of midnight, at 23:44 the same day; the other six dates are the same there. In India Saturn's station of 26 July 2026 (20:11 UTC) falls on 27 July, Jupiter's entry into Leo of 30 October 2026 (23:53 UTC) on 31 October, the Rahu and Ketu stay starts (18:59 UTC on 5 December 2026) on 6 December and ends (21:57 UTC on 23 June 2028) on 24 June; Saturn's final exit from Pisces on 22 February 2028 (18:19 UTC, 23:49 there) is within an hour of midnight, on the same date; the 25 June and 9 August times are given above.
No stay raises the engine's "intensified" flag, which pairs Saturn with the 1st, Jupiter with the 3rd, Ketu with the 2nd and Rahu with the 9th, or matches the Tamil palm-leaf pairings of Saturn in the 1st and Jupiter in the 3rd in Advanced Predictive Astrology (Vol. II, p. 311). Each graha's passage is on Saturn transit for Libra Moon sign, Jupiter transit for Libra Moon sign and Rahu transit for Libra Moon sign.
What the texts add, and where the engine goes further
A search of BPHS and Saravali for "gochar" and "transit" finds no house-from-the-Moon rule for Saturn or Jupiter; both read transits through the Ashtakavarga (BPHS Ch. 66 Sl. 70-72 and Ch. 70 Sl. 43-44, Saravali Ch. 53 Sl. 1 and 9-10). The engine's Rahu and Ketu verdicts are its own rule, cited to Kannan (Ch. XXXI), which is not in the corpus. For Rahu, Advanced Predictive Astrology (Chatterjee, Vol. II, p. 318) gives one counted from the Moon: good in the 3rd, 6th, 10th and 11th "from Moon, Sun or Ascendant", unfavourable over the Moon sign and in the 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th and 12th. Rahu in the 4th from a Libra Moon is unfavourable in the book and testing in the engine, so the two agree. Advanced Predictive Astrology (Vol. II, p. 310) also lists Jupiter as good in the 2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th from the Moon, which agrees with the engine on the 11th and has no 10th, which the engine also favours, and no 12th, where the engine reads Jupiter as testing. It lists Saturn as good in the 3rd, 6th and 11th (p. 311), which agrees with the engine on the 6th, where Saturn stands before 2 June and from 21 October; it has no Moon-counted line for the 7th, which the engine reads as neutral.
Saravali Ch. 53 Sl. 9-10 qualifies its Ashtakavarga transit rule by the sign: benefic results predominate in exaltation, own or friendly signs, malefic ones in debilitation or an enemy's sign. BPHS Ch. 3 Sl. 49-50 puts Jupiter's exaltation in Cancer and Saturn's debilitation in Aries, so two stays fall in such signs: Jupiter in Cancer (25 January to 25 June, the 10th) and Saturn in Aries (2 June to 21 October, the 7th). The engine reads the first as favourable and the second as neutral, by house; the two tests are separate. For Jupiter's stay Saravali Ch. 5 Sl. 14 adds a contrary view, held by some: a planet entering its exaltation sign in retrograde motion from the next sign, "for example Jupiter entering Cancer from Leo", gives no effect. The engine's Gochara verdict looks at the house only.
Saturn phases for a Libra Moon in 2027
No Saturn phase touches 2027 for a Libra Moon. Sade Sati is Saturn in Virgo, Libra and Scorpio, Ashtama Shani is Saturn in Taurus and Ardha Ashtama Shani is Saturn in Capricorn; in 2027 Saturn is in Pisces and Aries only. In this app's computation the phase before the year, an Ardha Ashtama Shani, ended on 16 January 2023 (17 January in India), and the first phase to begin after the year is an Ashtama Shani, from 6 August 2029 (7 August in India) to 30 May 2032. BPHS does not name these phases; they come from the later transit tradition. The Ashtama Shani is tabled on Ashtama Shani for Libra Moon sign; see also Ardha Ashtama Sani, Ashtama Sani, the Ashtama Sani calculator, Saturn in Aries and Rahu in Capricorn.
What to take care of
Two positions are marked testing in 2027: Rahu in the 4th from a Libra Moon, for the whole year (Capricorn, 5 December 2026 to 23 June 2028), and Jupiter in the 12th from 26 November (Virgo, to 29 February 2028). The Rahu verdict is the engine's, cited to Kannan (Ch. XXXI), which is not in the corpus; Advanced Predictive Astrology (Chatterjee, Vol. II, p. 318) agrees, listing the 4th from the Moon sign among Rahu's unfavourable houses. The engine's note for any graha in the 4th is that "steadiness serves better than new commitments here", and for Jupiter in the 12th that it is "more testing even for a natural benefic in this position from your Moon". Neither source names an area of life, so the care points are the ordinary ones for a stretch the engine asks to be taken steadily.
- Commitments: with Rahu in the 4th all year, give a large new commitment a second look, read contracts twice and ask for terms in writing.

- No. In this app's computation Saturn is in Pisces and Aries throughout 2027, the 6th and 7th from a Libra Moon. The last phase before the year ended on 16 January 2023 (17 January in India), and the first to begin after it is an Ashtama Shani on 6 August 2029 (7 August in India).
- Why is Rahu marked testing all year?
- Because Capricorn is the 4th from a Libra Moon, and the engine reads every graha in the 4th as testing, a rule it cites to Kannan (Ch. XXXI), which is not in the corpus. Advanced Predictive Astrology (Chatterjee, Vol. II, p. 318) also lists the 4th from the Moon among Rahu's unfavourable houses.
