Saturn and Jupiter change sign five times in 2027: Saturn crosses from Pisces into Aries and back, and Jupiter crosses three times. Rahu stays in Capricorn and Ketu, opposite it, in Cancer. Counted from an Aquarius Moon, Saturn's two signs are the 2nd and 3rd houses, Jupiter's are the 6th, 7th and 8th, Rahu's is the 12th and Ketu's the 6th.
This page reports positions and the engine's rules for them; it does not say what 2027 will bring to anyone with an Aquarius Moon. A transit is read against the natal Moon sign in the method called Gochara, and the Gochar calculator applies the same rules to any birth date on any day. 2027 dates: every sign change and station
The first table lists the five ingresses and three stations of Saturn and Jupiter in 2027. A station is the day a graha turns retrograde or direct (see vakri). Rahu and Ketu change no sign in 2027. Jupiter turned retrograde on 13 December 2026, at 2.82 degrees of Leo, which is why it moves back into Cancer on 25 January.

Dates are this app's computation and may differ from other software by hours to a day or two near an ingress. In India (UTC+5:30) Saturn's station of 9 August (19:06 UTC) falls on 10 August at 00:36, and Jupiter's entry into Leo of 25 June (18:14 UTC) is within an hour of midnight, at 23:44 the same day; the other six dates are the same there. The engine gives each graha a verdict by its house alone, counting the Moon sign as the 1st. The second table lists every stay in force during 2027 with its true start and end, and the dignity the engine computes with no birth chart (friendly or enemy is the natural relation only).

In India Saturn's station of 26 July 2026 (20:11 UTC) falls on 27 July, Jupiter's entry into Leo of 30 October 2026 (23:53 UTC) on 31 October, the Rahu and Ketu stay starts (18:59 UTC on 5 December 2026) on 6 December and ends (21:57 UTC on 23 June 2028) on 24 June; Saturn's final exit from Pisces on 22 February 2028 (18:19 UTC, 23:49 there) is within an hour of midnight, on the same date; the 25 June and 9 August times are given above.
No stay raises the engine's "intensified" flag (Saturn with the 1st, Jupiter with the 3rd, Ketu with the 2nd, Rahu with the 9th), and none matches the Tamil palm-leaf pairings in Advanced Predictive Astrology (Vol. II, p. 311). Each graha's passage is on Saturn transit for Aquarius Moon sign, Jupiter transit for Aquarius Moon sign and Rahu transit for Aquarius Moon sign.
What the texts add, and where the engine goes further
A search of BPHS and Saravali for "gochar" and "transit" finds no house-from-the-Moon rule for Saturn or Jupiter; both read transits through the Ashtakavarga (BPHS Ch. 66 Sl. 70-72 and Ch. 70 Sl. 43-44, Saravali Ch. 53 Sl. 1 and 9-10). The engine's Rahu and Ketu verdicts are its own rule, cited to Kannan (Ch. XXXI), not in the corpus. For Rahu, Advanced Predictive Astrology (Chatterjee, Vol. II, p. 318) gives one counted from the Moon: good in the 3rd, 6th, 10th and 11th "from Moon, Sun or Ascendant", unfavourable over the Moon sign and in the 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th and 12th. Rahu in the 12th from an Aquarius Moon is unfavourable in the book and testing in the engine: they agree. Advanced Predictive Astrology (Vol. II, p. 310) lists Jupiter as good in the 2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th from the Moon, which agrees with the engine on the 7th and has no 6th or 8th. It lists Saturn as good in the 3rd, 6th and 11th (p. 311), agreeing with the engine on the 3rd. That Saturn list does not include the 2nd, where the engine reads Saturn as favourable until 2 June and from 21 October; Advanced Predictive Astrology counts the 2nd as the last part of Sade Sati instead (p. 311).
Advanced Predictive Astrology (Vol. II, p. 312) has a line on Saturn entering the 3rd sign from the Moon, "turning a new leaf". For an Aquarius Moon that is Aries: Saturn enters it on 2 June 2027, returns to Pisces, the previous sign, on 21 October and re-enters Aries on 22 February 2028. It is Advanced Predictive Astrology's line, not a forecast.
Saravali Ch. 53 Sl. 9-10 qualifies its Ashtakavarga transit rule by the sign: benefic results predominate in exaltation, own or friendly signs, malefic ones in debilitation or an enemy's sign. BPHS Ch. 3 Sl. 49-50 puts Jupiter's exaltation in Cancer and Saturn's debilitation in Aries, so two stays fall there: Jupiter in Cancer (the 6th) and Saturn in Aries (the 3rd). On Jupiter's entry into Cancer Saravali Ch. 5 Sl. 14 adds a contrary view, held by some: a planet entering its exaltation sign in retrograde motion from the next sign, "for example Jupiter entering Cancer from Leo", gives no effect. The engine's Gochara verdict looks at the house only.
Sade Sati for an Aquarius Moon in 2027
The one Saturn phase that touches 2027 for an Aquarius Moon is Sade Sati, Saturn in the 12th, 1st and 2nd signs from the Moon. In this app's computation its cycle runs from 23 January 2020 (24 January in India) to 22 February 2028. Within 2027 Saturn is in Pisces, the 2nd and the setting phase, until 2 June; spends 141 days in Aries, the 3rd (a pause, because the phase counts only the 12th, 1st and 2nd); and returns to Pisces on 21 October for the last 125 days, leaving it on 22 February 2028 (23:49 in India, within an hour of midnight). No Ashtama Shani or Ardha Ashtama Shani touches the year. BPHS, Saravali and the Bhrigu Sutras do not name Sade Sati; Advanced Predictive Astrology (Vol. II, pp. 311-312) does. The stays are tabled on Sade Sati for Aquarius Moon sign; the rule is on Sade Sati and in the glossary entry, a birth date is checked in the Sade Sati calculator, and the signs are Saturn in Pisces and Aries.
What to take care of
Two positions are testing in 2027 by the engine's rule: Rahu in the 12th from an Aquarius Moon, all year, and Jupiter in the 8th from 26 November; its notes read "real caution and steadiness serve better than pushing forward" and "more testing even for a natural benefic". Saturn, in the 2nd and 3rd, is favourable in the engine throughout, so within 2027 its testing verdict covers no Saturn stay. Advanced Predictive Astrology (Vol. II, pp. 311-312) reads the whole Sade Sati as bringing "unpleasant situations and circumstances", "much depression, disappointment" and "lack of interest in any matter in life", one modern author's reading of a transit, not a medical statement; within 2027 that covers Saturn in the 2nd. It adds trouble concentrating on studies; delayed promotion, a disliked transfer and quarrels with seniors or juniors in a career just begun; financial loss; and tension, travel and theft. The book's list goes on to graver events and to named people's lives; this page leaves those out, as this app does not forecast such events. A North Indian school that Advanced Predictive Astrology reports (p. 312) gives Aquarius "last 2.5 yrs" as the adverse part. The list counts years, not signs; this page reads that part as the setting phase, Saturn in the 2nd (Pisces in 2027). The engine ignores the list.
- Money: the reading names financial loss, so keep savings for the whole Sade Sati, to 22 February 2028, avoid large unsecured loans and read contracts twice.
- Work and study: the reading names trouble with studies, a disliked transfer and quarrels in a career just begun, so keep a steady study routine, raise a misunderstanding early and calmly, and think a job change through.
- Travel: the reading names tension, travel and theft, so drive with care and keep documents and valuables safe.
- Pace: the engine's note for Rahu favours caution and steadiness over pushing forward, so give a large new commitment time to be checked.

- Does the Sade Sati pause while Saturn is in Aries?
- In the engine's count, yes. Aries is the 3rd from an Aquarius Moon, outside the 12th, 1st and 2nd, so the 141 days from 2 June to 21 October 2027 are a pause; the cycle ends on 22 February 2028.
- Is 2027 a good or bad year for an Aquarius Moon?
- The engine and its sources give rules about positions, not verdicts on a year. Testing: Rahu in the 12th, all year; Jupiter in the 8th, from 26 November. Favourable: Saturn in the 2nd and 3rd, though Advanced Predictive Astrology's Sade Sati reading covers the 2nd; Jupiter in the 7th; Ketu in the 6th. Neutral: Jupiter in the 6th. The rest depends on the whole chart and the running dasha.
- Do the book and the engine agree on Rahu in the 12th?
- Yes. Advanced Predictive Astrology (Chatterjee, Vol. II, p. 318) lists the 12th among Rahu's unfavourable houses from the Moon, and the engine reads it as testing.
- Why does the engine call Saturn favourable during a Sade Sati?
